New PETA Campaign - ‘Save the Whales’

A new PETA billboard campaign that was recently launched in Jacksonville, Florida, reminds people who are struggling to lose weight — that going vegetarian can be an effective way to achieve a hot “beach bod”. The ad features the tagline “Save the Whales. Lose the Blubber: Go Vegetarian. PETA.”

“Trying to hide your thunder thighs and balloon belly is no day at the beach,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "Following a vegetarian diet is also good for the environment and the best thing that anyone can do to help stop the routine abuse of animals raised and killed for food. "

PETA, once again, has shown no care or feeling for humans, just a lot of B.S. about how vegetarianism will make people just a little less of a blight on the planet.

PETA also fails to point out the fact that it's not so much what you eat, as how much and how often that you eat it. The following is a list of vegetarian foods that a "Veg-Head" can eat and still not be skinny:

Häagen-Dazs, Funnel cakes, Fettuccine Alfredo, Cheese Pizza, Mozzarella sticks, Belgian waffles, Twinkies, Cookies, Cupcakes, Doughnuts and Brownies.
And for the vegan's out there: Onion rings, Potato chips, French fries, Hash browns, Soda, Soy Venti Frappuccinos, Veggie corn dogs, Macaroni and cheese, Samosas and Beer.

PETA is crazy. I know plenty of over weight vegetarians. It doesnt matter what you eat, its how your metabolism works and the effort you put in to keep it fast.

I became a vegetarian and gained 20 pounds. I don't I would just like to point out that a vegetarian diet has pretty much as much or more calories than a normal diet
